How we work

We scope a customer’s precise power needs, including a complete power solutions analysis
as required. We are able to offer engineering advice and a full installation service. Our after-sales
service includes training, maintenance and repair right through to monitoring of our fuel cell system units.

About us

FutureE Fuel Cell Solutions GmbH is a German fuel cell system company focused on
innovative fuel cell systems and energy solutions. Our team is stable, enthusiastic and has a
many years’ experience in fuel cell technology, gained in industry leaders.

Management

FutureE’s three founders represent today’s management. Together, the team represents over
30 years of experience in fuel cell industry, gained at industry leaders.

Mark-Uwe Osswald – Business Development, Sales and Finance
Mark-Uwe Osswald’s professional education includes a bank apprenticeship and a university
degree in mechanical engineering and business administration. He has held several senior
management positions within finance, strategy, business development and sales. One of them
was head of Finance and Administration at Ballard Power Systems GmbH. His final responsibility
before founding FutureE was business development North America at NuCellSys GmbH,
a Joint Venture of Daimler Chrysler AG and Ford Motor Company.

Bettina Drehmann – Communications and Organisation

Bettina Drehmann, a qualified physicist, has a broad spectrum of experience in the commercial
activities surrounding fuel cell technology and international program management. Her expertise
spans development, purchasing, and configuration management.  Her last role, before founding FutureE,
was as a senior member of the international product development and market entry team at
Ballard AG & NuCellSys GmbH, a Joint Venture of Daimler Chrysler AG and Ford Motor Company.

Siegfried Limmer – Research and Development
Siegfried Limmer is a chemical engineer whose professional interest lies deep in the
operation and use of fuel cell technology. First encountering this technology at Ballard Power
Systems in 1996, he is dedicated to transferring market requirements into fuel cell based
products designed for mass production. His final role before founding FutureE was as senior
project manager at NuCellSys GmbH, a Joint Venture of Daimler Chrysler AG and Ford Motor Company.
